What Makes Frankie Qualified to Create Recipes and Talk About Food and Nutrition?
Being an honors graduate from an accredited culinary arts program, over a year of university level study in human nutritional science at an accredited university, participation in nutrition research projects as a subject with the USDA, a core competency in master gardening with years of gardening experience as well as raising and butchering a variety of animals from domestic to wild game, and a long history of a passion for food and nutrition while staying abreast on the trends and scientific research on the subjects, are just some of the highlights that make Frankie qualified.

Why Affiliated Links?
Affiliated links are an attempt to recoup the domain name and hosting costs of this site. I chose discrete affiliated links throughout the site in order to make the experience with this website as clean and easy as possible. I feel that without popups, overly distracting links, and embedded advertising people are more likely to use the recipes on this site - which is the whole point!
There are many food deserts across the country (United States) which makes finding many of the items I use in my recipes difficult for people to find. In attempt to make it easier I’ve provided links to the products that can easily be delivered to your door.
Where are your stories about food?!
I have read an enormous amount of comments online, as well as had conversations with people, about the frustration of trying to find and use recipes online. The biggest complaints, after excessive adverting, is the stories. While some people do indeed enjoy food stories, it’s generally not why they are looking for a recipe.
So in order to make this recipe site as enjoyable and useful as possible, should there be a story there will be a small button link labeled ‘Story…’ to click and find the story. I’m going to be honest, most of the recipes won’t have a story. Many, might, however have a ‘Tips’ button where you can find recipe related tips and additional information on the recipe.
